APRIL 8, 2023

GREETINGS! This newsletter is to share some information about our annual meeting held on March 21st and update everyone on some recent progress and issues.

At the annual meeting we had a small, but constructive, group of property owners. The agenda included a summary of completed improvements to the subdivision, a review of our financial status, and proposed future projects. There was some good discussion and sharing of ideas. The meeting was topped off with a drawing for a door prize (a beautiful flowering potted plant).

Some issues of concern discussed at the meeting included speeding, parking on public streets, and obstructing access to fire hydrants. For everyone’s safety and well-being, we encourage everyone to be mindful of these issues.

Of particular interest to many of us is the annual Creekside neighborhood garage sale. Currently, the neighborhood garage sale is scheduled for May 6th from 8:00 to 1:00. The garage sale is a great way to reduce our household junk/treasures and make a few bucks.

One recent achievement is the painting of the community fence at the Whispering Pine entrance to Creekside. A special salute to Mr. Byrle Brunton, Bill Lees & others for their hard work. The volunteer labor saved your Association BIG BUCKS.

At the annual meeting one sad item we had to report was the recent resignation of Mrs. Caron Richards. For several years Caron had served on the Creekside POA board as President and most recently as Secretary. Due to personal circumstances, Caron must give up her position on the Board. THUS, WE SINCERELY NEED SOMEONE TO VOLUNTEER TO SERVE AS SECRETARY ON THE BOARD. DETAILS ABOUT THIS POSITION ARE AVAILABLE

Over the past 12 months or more our subdivision has gotten several new neighbors, including some young families with children. We are so glad to have these new neighbors because they affirm the quality of our neighborhood.
